Position: Salesperson
Description: As Sales Person you will prospect and sell. You will report to the President.
  • Cold Calling (to both warm and cold leads)
  • Generate leads (referrals, direct mail, executive briefings, networking etc)
  • Phone and face-to-face meetings to qualify prospects
  • Generate proposals in conjunction with others
  • Present proposals
  • Close sales
  • Account development (follow up and get more business from existing clients)
Hours: Full time. Flexible hours. Exempt.
Salary: Target compensation range $90-$125k+
Benefits: 16 days paid time off (vacation, holiday, sick combined) plus one day for each calendar year of service. Flextime. Flex spend account for pre-tax health costs and child care. Casual dress code.
Start: Immediately
Minimum Experience Required:
  • Demonstrable closing success (client references and W2 proof required)
  • Solid sales experience, preferably in a small company environment
  • Experience selling custom software development and software (intangibles as opposed to hardware or services)
  • Skilled at new account development
  • Good understanding of the internet, savvy about site development/usability
  • Experience closing business with large and medium sized organizations
  • Demonstrable cold calling experience
  • Business to business sales experience particularly experience with selling custom solutions
