Federal Reserve Board
Roving Training
Problem
The Federal Reserve Board contacted TeraTech in 2006 to take advantage of an opportunity to learn from one of our renowned ColdFusion developers. The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System implemented a six-month program to aid their staff with ColdFusion development. One of our developers was scheduled to provide Roving Training in ColdFusion. Once a month, he met with staff members on a one-on-one basis. He traveled to their individual offices, making it more convenient for the Boards developers. The training was tailored to each user’s immediate needs by assisting them with any challenges they might currently be having in developing ColdFusion applications.
Solution
Although the recipients of the Roving Training were senior developers, who already had a good understanding of ColdFusion, they still were able to learn a great deal of new information from the experience and knowledge of the TeraTech developer. Every developer from the Board had a different background in ColdFusion, and had different problems or questions for which they needed help. All of these problems were solved efficiently and thoroughly, with no hassle to the Federal Reserve Board.
Results
The developers of the Federal Reserve Board are now more knowledgeable as a result of our training. They claim that their clients are now happier, since the developers are now better informed and able to handle a wider array of projects than they previously had been able to.
